Sunset Campout announces 2014 lineup

- Sunset Sound System has announced the lineup for its 2014 edition, taking place July 25th through 27th in Northern California. The long-running festival, organized by a small group of San Francisco DJs and producers, features two stages, a river for swimming and a lineup of international and local acts. The festival's booking emphasizes house in all its forms. Highlights include Soul Clap, Traxx, Danny Daze, Dave Aju, Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts, Max Essa and a live show from Spacetime Continuum. The volunteer-driven event will be hosted in the Belden Town forest resort for the sixth consecutive year, with lighting design from Radiant Atmospheres. Bay Area acts are given equal attention on the bill. KIT N C.L.A.W.S. will perform live, while organizers Solar, Galen, and J-Bird will DJ the festival's outdoor stages. Conor, the respected record collector and DJ behind the No Way Back parties, also appears on the bill. Most attendees camp on-site, and a sound system placed on the banks of the Feather River allows festivalgoers to participate in water activities while enjoying the music. Sunset Campout adheres to a pack-in, pack-out policy to avoid sullying the picturesque setting.
