Roland Tings embarks on first national tour

- The Melbourne producer will play shows all around Australia starting this month.
- Melbourne artist Roland Tings will head out on an eight-show national tour from this weekend. The young Australian talent has been restrained with his output to date, releasing three 12-inches in as many years on 100% Silk, Club Mod and, most recently, Prins Thomas' Internasjonal imprint. Who U Love, the EP which dropped back in April 2014, is the catalyst for Tings' upcoming live tour and precedes his self-titled debut LP, due out on Thomas' label later in the year. His lengthy trip begins with a show at The Homestead in Hobart on July 18th. That'll be followed by an appearance at Splendour In The Grass 2014, where he'll perform alongside Peanut Butter Wolf and Steve Summers on the RBMA stage on July 25th. He'll play the launch of Percussions in Adelaide on August 2nd with Madteo and Huerco S also appearing at the yet-to-be-announced warehouse location, before hitting an Astral People party at Goodgod Small Club in Sydney on the 9th with Canyons, Softwar and Ben Fester, and then onto a Parkside gig in Wollongong on the 10th. He heads up to Brisbane on the 15th for a show at Alhambra Lounge, then plays Boney in Melbourne on the 16th before wrapping up the tour in Perth on August 22nd with the Get Weird crew at a TBA venue.
