  • The second annual Riverside Groove in Detroit is set to happen on Saturday, August 9th. Like last year's inaugural event, Dirty 313ctronic Productions will be hosting Riverside Groove at Sindbad's Restaurant and Marina, on the Detroit River, with one stage each inside and outside. This one will run for 15 hours, from noon to 3 AM, with an 18+ door policy. Four out-of-town headliners are confirmed. NYC-based Wolf+Lamb affiliates No Regular Play and Slow Hands will play live, and French DJ Shiba San and Miami's Sishi Rosch will each take to the decks. There will also be plenty of local jocks on hand, including Ataxia, Secrets, DJ Psycho and Golf Clap. Riverside Groove isn't the only all-day house and techno bash that will occur on the Detroit River in early August: Charivari is set to take place the weekend before at Milliken Park.
