  • Mick Wills, a veteran of Germany's underground scene, is visiting the US this month, and he'll headline a party in Chicago this Saturday. Wills has been at it for nearly three decades, earning a reputation as a daring, genre-jumping selector who brings together techno, electro, EBM, acid and more with his sets. As a producer, he first appeared on DJ Hell's International Deejay Gigolo Records in the early '00s, and has also done tracks and remixes for a few other labels like MinimalRome. These days, he's a part of Traxx's Nation crew, having appeared on the Chicago imprint by way of a few collaborations with Traxx, and during a rare trip for gigs to the US, it's Nation that will be hosting his Chicago debut next weekend for Apocalypse. The all-night party will happen at a secret spot with Traxx on hand along with one more local jock representing Nation, Beau Wanzer. Looking ahead, Wills has one more US gig confirmed: he and Traxx will both play Sunset Campout in Belden Town, California near the end of the month. You can learn more about Wills' story with this new interview with ibiza-voice.com.
