  • Paqua have released full details of their debut full-length, Akaliko, out now on Claremont 56. Made up of Claremont 56 head Paul "Mudd" Murphy, Alex Searle and Quinn Luke, the transatlantic group first surfaced in 2012 with the Dinosaur Zappa EP, followed a year later by Late Train. Both releases feature in full on the album, which continues to explore the group's balearic blend of disco, rock and Latin sounds. The project was not without its collaborators, with Phenomenal Handclap Band drummer Patrick Wood, percussionist Patrick Dawes and Faze Action's Robin Lee all pitching in. The outfit will follow-up the release with a run of UK live dates, including stops in Birmingham (July 11th), Leeds (July 16th), Manchester (July 17th) and London (July 20th.) Tracklist 01. Paqua 02.
