  • Nguzunguzu will debut in Australia this July. With a repertoire spanning house, hip-hop, grime, R&B and many flavours of bass, the production pair of Ma (Asma Maroof) and Na (Daniel Pineda) marked the inauguration of Night Slugs sister label Fade To Mind back in 2011 with their Timesup EP, and have been a staple on the eclectic LA label in the years since. For their first trip down south the duo will be playing five gigs, starting out with a set at The Bakery in Perth on July 18th and followed by a stop at Rocket Bar in Adelaide on the 19th. On the 25th they head over to Sydney for H / A \ M at Goodgod Small Club with RY4, Radge and Bhenji Ra on support, then they fly down to Melbourne on the 26th for a party at Revolver Upstairs with residents from The Late Show and All Good playing through until 7 AM. Sunday the 27th sees Nguzunguzu perform on the Red Bull Music Academy stage at Splendour in the Grass at North Byron Parklands, where they'll be joined by Africa Hitech, Lorna Clarkson and Oscar Key Sung. Tickets to the Sydney show are available here on RA.
