- The Parisian veteran will release his next album on SlapFunk Records next month.
Chris Carrier has his next LP, True Step Locomotion, lined up for release this August.
The album will be the first full-length release on Utrecht's SlapFunk Records. It follows his 2013 collaboration with Hector Moralez, which also marked Parisian label Apollonia's first foray into the world of albums. This time flying solo, Carrier says that True Step Locomotion reflects the "significant and disturbing changes in the world" that he has seen over the past decade of touring, a concept referenced in track titles like "Fukushima My Love" and "Pink Planet." Musically, the LP returns to the realm of jacking analogue house which the Frenchman has released on labels like Robsoul and Silver Network.
