- Max Cooper, Steffi and Recondite are among other new names announced for the Seattle festival in September.
A second wave of names has been announced for Decibel Festival 2014, taking place in Seattle from September 24th to 28th.
Decibel, which happens at various venues across Seattle, announced its initial wave of artists earlier this spring, which included the likes of Richie Hawtin, Kode9, MK and John Roberts. The new batch is as diverse as ever, with Marcel Dettmann, Ten Walls, Oneohtrix Point Never and Max Cooper among the biggest acts.
Holding down the house and techno end of things are Recondite, Fluxion, Dense & Pika, Scuba and South London Ordnance, Steffi, Nick Monaco, Lee Foss, Guti, Kaytranada and Kim Ann Foxman. Hip-hop producer Salva, weirdo beatsmith Arca (with vocalist Jesse Kanda), synth pop band Blue Hawaii, Lee Burridge, Natasha Kmeto and Lunice are all also booked.
The festival's 11th year will feature the usual array of boat parties as well as an outdoor event, dB In The Park. This edition's daytime event will move to the Experience Music Project Museum after a few years at the smaller Broadway Performance Hall.
