- The UK drum & bass label's new subsidiary will "pick up where the Modulations imprint left off."
Critical Music has announced a new sub-label called Systems.
The imprint apparently follows in the footsteps of Modulations, another subsidiary of the drum & bass stalwart that focused on deeper shades of drum & bass and ran from 2010 until 2013 (its last release came from Sam Binga). The new series has an even broader scope, reaching out beyond drum & bass into more general electronic music territory. It'll launch with Halogenix, whom you might know from his work with Stray and Sabre as Ivy Lab.
