  • Scuba has fully revealed his next EP release, Phenix 2. Phenix was announced at the beginning of the year as a trilogy of four-track EPs (presumably in the place of a new album), which marked Paul Rose's first new material since 2012's two trance-baiting singles "Hardbody" and "Adrenalin." The first Phenix showcased a style tinged darker than those songs ("it sounds rather unlike Scuba," RA's Stephen Worthy pointed out in his review), and number two looks set to follow that, with a press release claiming that it's "entirely devoid of the euphoric hallmarks of the Personality era." You can check out clips below. As usual, it'll come via his own Hotflush Recordings. Rose will also play a live set in London this Friday alongside Tom Demac and Kowton, and it's reportedly his only planned live set of the year.
