Satta Festival brings Kode9 to Latvia

- This year's Satta Festival will feature Kode9, Dâm-Funk and Forest Swords. For the first time, Satta will be held outside its usual home of Lithuania. Pape, a resort town 20 km from the Lithuania-Latvia border, is the new host spot. (It's situated on the same strip of the Baltic Sea coast as Satta's former location.) The festival willl run from August 14th through 17th. For its first Latvian edition, organisers have locked in a typically leftfield batch of artists, headed up by Hyperdub founder Kode9. More bass will come from Oneman, recent RA Sessions guest Mumdance and Logos. Los Angeles producer Dâm-Funk, Forest Swords and Sei A have also been billed. As per usual, visual arts and beach sports (known as the "Satta Olympics") will have a big presence. Tickets to Satta Festival are available here on RA.
