  • Milano Street Parade will return for its second edition on Saturday, June 21st. Run by local forward-thinking outfits Intellighenzia Electronica and Club 2.0 Social Art Center, the free, all-day procession has doubled in size from last year, with 20 floats. Much like Notting Hill Carnival, each float will be run by different crews from around the city, including Active Minds & Farenight (Detroit techno and electro), Mustafunk (live jazz and hip-hop) and DNB is WKD (drum & bass.) L.I.E.S. affiliate Greg Beato will make his Italian debut at the parade. He'll be joined by Slovenia's Gumja and local favourites Ayarcana, Techno Soliders and The Element. The action will run from 3 PM until midnight, with more than 10,000 people expected to attend. The slogan for this year is "Ballare per colorare la citta," which roughly translates as "dance to paint the city."
