  • A new project from Magda and NYMA has launched with a rework of Chaka Khan's 1984 track "I Feel For You." DTR, which stands for "Define The Relationship," sees the two artists reworking classic tunes. The results are then posted on the label's website as free downloads. "There are so many amazing tracks which have played an important role at one point or another in our lives—these are the tracks we choose," Magda, who has been dropping Chaka Khan edits in her sets for a while now, told Groove's Peyman Farahani. She adds: "'I Feel For You' was a big part of my life when I first started going out in Detroit. It was something everyone identified with and it has great elements to work with. In general, we look for tracks with good rhythmic programming and unique sounds which still sound fresh today." The second release is an edit of Jody Watley's "Looking For A New Love." That will be followed by LL Cool J's "Walking With A Panther." You can download two remixes of "I Feel For You" over on the DTR website.
