  • A new record shop called Love Vinyl will open in East London next month. The shop has been founded by four London party staples: Stuart Patterson, James Manero, Zafar Chowdhry and Jake Holloway. Chowdhry ran Soho record shop Reckless Records from 1988 until 2006; Holloway owned the Village Vinyl shop in Walthamstow. Both Patterson and Manero have long ties to London's music scene, too: the former as a DJ, promoter and record label owner, the latter as the person behind the Another Party parties. Located at Pearson St, near Hoxton in East London, Love Vinyl will stock both new and second-hand records, promising a mix of house, techno, disco, reggae, soul and jazz.
