- The new imprint replaces the UK artist's previous project, Disfigured Dubz, which finished in November 2013.
Skream has revealed details of a new label called Of Unsound Mind.
The new imprint replaces Oliver Jones's previous label, Disfigured Dubz, which he closed last year. Speaking to FACT, Jones said the first few releases on Of Unsound Mind would be "deep, colourful [and] melodic." He added: "There isn’t a particular guideline as of yet, just stuff I’m really feeling and artists I feel people need to know about."
Jones's DJ sets and productions have focused on house these past couple of years, and Of Unsound Mind will continue down this path. The first record comes from former Grown Folk member Motions, while there's also a release in the pipeline from Mumbai producer Sandunes. Of Unsound Mind 001 will come out on vinyl and digital formats. You can listen to the record in full via the SoundCloud player below:
