  • Alleviated Records will drop reissues of three 12-inches later this summer. The label run by Chicago house veteran Larry Heard since the mid-'80s recently entered a distribution deal with Dutch entity Clone. Following this spring's reissue of the classic Heard album Alien, two latter-day EPs from the boss man are due to be re-released along with a 1986 12-inch from The It that also features a Heard contribution. The two Heard reissues come under the name Loosefingers and date back to the early 2000s (though Loosefingers was the original alias he chose before changing to Mr. Fingers in 1985). On a more mellow tip, Loosefingers EP1 boasts Heard's own vocals and guitar from Justin Chapman, while Loosefingers EP2 sees him exploring more acid-indebted sounds. Both will be out in July. "Donnie" will precede those two in May, produced by Chip E under the guise The It and originally released on DJ International back in 1986. The classic track features an early appearance from Robert Owens as well as from Heard ("who just happened upon one of the sessions") and comes in five different versions, including a remix by Ron Hardy. Tracklist Loosefingers EP1 01. Glancing At The moon 02. Lamentation 03. Deep Inside Loosefingers EP2 01. When Summer Comes 02. Acid Bounce 03. Transmission X Donnie 01. Donnie (Club Mix) 02.
