Ulysses is behind the next release on The Bunker New York, due out on May 26th.
The Casual Mystic marks the New Yorker's first release since 2011, and it continues an eclectic early run on the fledgling label after releases from Voices From The Lake, Leisure Muffin and others. Ulysses, a Brooklyn resident, was an important part of the city's electro scene in the late '90s and the mind behind some of its biggest parties. Settling down to raise a family has slowed his output, and Mystic, featuring three never-before-heard tracks, is the fruits of the Bunker heads scouring through the Ulysses archives at his home studio. The press release also offers three rather puzzling questions from the man himself:"Would you trust a guru in sweatpants?
What nobleman dares to sit on a throne of bubbles?
Is this the theme of the Arctic?"
