The three-day festival will return to Spazio Ansaldo for its second edition next week.
Milano Electronic City has revealed full details of its 2014 edition, taking place at Spazio Ansaldo from May 15th through 17th.
Run by local outfit Intellighenzia Electronica, the festival has expanded to include three days this year. Kicking off on Thursday, May 15th, with a series of visual art workshops, MEC will hit its stride with a Bosconi Records showcase on the Friday. RA feature subjectEduardo de la Calle will join label chief Fabio della Torre, with DJ support from Keep On Movin' and Subculture residents.
A Jeff Mills double-header on Saturday is the festival's main attraction. At 9 PM there will be a free screening of the Mills-inspired film A Man From Tomorrow, with Mills and director Jacqueline Caux both in attendance. From 11 PM onwards the action will move to the venue's club space, where the Detroit doyen will spin a three-hour set. As well as the music, MEC will offer revellers the chance to browse pop-up record stores, swap hardware or participate in a variety of workshops.
