  • Unsound will once again host its flagship festival in Krakow this October. While no other information has been released at this stage, fans and those who have longed to check out the esteemed experimental festival can mark their calendars: this year's edition runs from October 12th through 19th. A message posted to the festival's website says that details like lineup and theme (last year's was "interference") will be rolled out later this month. Unsound has also announced a showcase at the Barbican Centre in London on July 19th as part of Digital Revolution, an audiovisual exhibition that runs from July 3rd through September 14th. The Unsound event will present a pair of impressive audiovisual performances: Robert Henke will perform his laser-imbued "Lumière" show—a highlight of last year's festival—and Robin Fox will perform "RGB," which "throws the raw power of pure red green and blue straight into the audience." You can find out more about the program and book tickets through the Barbican's website.
