Omar-S and FIT hit California

- The two Detroit jocks will play for ICEE HOT in San Francisco and Donuts in LA this weekend.
- Omar-S and Aaron "FIT" Siegel will head west this weekend to hit the decks in San Francisco and Los Angeles. There should be plenty of deep, gritty house and techno at the two parties with these two Detroit DJs on hand. While Omar-S is well known as the globetrotting boss of FXHE Records, Siegel—who's made a couple appearances on FXHE, including this 2012 EP produced with Gunnar Wendel—has kept a lower profile while staying busy with his own work, including his label FIT Sound and record distributor FIT Distribution. The two selectors' visit to California follows a couple other recent bookings together, including FXHE's ten-year anniversary show in Detroit back in February. It also comes shortly after the release of a double EP from Omar-S, as well as Siegel's record "Cocomo" / "Seedbed" on FIT Sound. First up on Friday is a night with ICEE HOT at San Francisco spot F8—the crew's Ghosts On Tape, Shawn Reynaldo and DJ Will will take care of support. Then on Saturday, Omar-S and FIT will play a secretly located Donuts party in Los Angeles, with resident Pickpocket and fellow locals New Body rounding out the night.
