- Full details of the Warp veteran's compilation have been revealed.
Nightmares On Wax's N.O.W. Is The Time, a compilation featuring original tracks alongside remixes from the likes of JD Twitch, Morgan Geist and LFO, will see release on June 16th.
George Evelyn is one of Warp Records' longest serving artists. His last album was 2013's Feelin' Good, and this next release is a compilation that marks his 25-year career—which coincides with Warp's own 25-year celebrations.
The CD version of N.O.W. Is The Time comprises two discs—Nightmares By Day and Nightmares By Night—containing 28 of the best-known Nightmares On Wax tunes. There will also be a special edition vinyl boxset called N.O.W Is The Time: Deep Down Edition. Spread across two vinyl LPs, this features rare and unreleased tracks, including a collaboration with De La Soul, older remixes from the likes of LFO and Mr Scruff, newly commissioned remixes from Morgan Geist, JD Twitch, Loco Dice, Special Request and Ashley Beedle, and a book of "memorabilia and interviews."
Evelyn has a few live and DJ dates locked in over the next few months, including a slot at Beacons Festival in Yorkshire on August 9th, and fabric in London on August 29th. You can listen to Ashley Beedle's Warbox Dubplate Special version of "Now Is The Time" below:
