Dream 2 Science has remixed deep88 and Melchior Sultana for a new EP out at the end of May.
Dream 2 Science was the brainchild of New Yorker Ben Cenac. The sometimes-group, sometimes solo project only released one EP, 1990's self-titled six-tracker, but it was a powerful one, becoming a legendary record in the NYC house canon over the years. It was reissued by Rush Hour in 2012 but Cenac has remained relatively quiet aside from a four-track EP under his own name last year.
Now the Dream 2 Science moniker will make a very rare return for this remix of the two Italian producers retro-leaning original "Nightwave," which label 12 Records calls "a wonderful space trip with his dreamy synths and stylish drums." It'll be backed up by an Andras Fox rework of the piano-happy "Yo House," and a new original called "100% Kamelwolle."
