  • A live performance by KiNK and Sierra Sam at Berlin club Watergate will be recorded and released as an album. The event will take place on Wednesday, May 7th. The pair will set up their hardware-only rig on the club's Waterfloor a few days beforehand to rehearse their one-off performance. KiNK's reputation as a gifted and dexterous live performer is well-known—check out this month's RA Sessions for proof—but on this occasion he'll be taking more of a supporting role behind Sierra Sam. The gig will be recorded and released as a Live At Watergate CD, with a run of 12-inches also planned. There will be a visual document of the evening too, with Electronic Beats on hand to capture footage that'll be used in a documentary. DJ support on the night will come from Marco Resmann and Pascal Hetzel. KiNK's debut studio album, Under Destruction, is due out via Stefan Goldmann and Finn Johannsen's Macro label on May 5th.
