- The UK electro veteran's next full-length will come out on Shipwrec this May.
The next album from DMX Krew, Shape Shifting Shaman, lands on Shipwrec this May.
The UK producer born Edward Upton is nothing if not prolific. Since 1996, he's released something like a dozen full-lengths and scores more EPs. And that's just as DMX Krew—he's released under a few other names as well, like Asylum Seekers and Computer Rockers. DMX Krew is primarily an electro project, and in an interview with Fact, Upton says the tracks that landed on this album were ones he'd "consciously held back from sending off to other labels because I thought they were my strongest tracks and I wanted them to be released together and presented in a good way." Shape Shifting Shaman will be released on double-vinyl, with artwork care of Leipzig artist Doppeldenk.
