Smallville turns nine with parties in Berlin and Hamburg

- Smallville will celebrate nine years with parties in Berlin and Hamburg next month. With its status as one of one of Germany's best-known deep house imprints, it's easy to forget that Smallville's origins are in a Hamburg record store. (The label didn't come along until 2006.) The upcoming celebrations will commemorate the store's nine years of operation, and will take place in Berlin and Hamburg on May 3rd and 9th, respectively. The Berlin leg will go down across Stattbad in conjunction with local promoter Odd Fantastic, with Keith Worthy, Phillip Lauer and Smallpeople in one room, and Morphosis, Helena Hauff and Fiedel in the other. The Hamburg session will take place at Mojo, and feature a live set from Genius of Time and DJ appearances from hometown favourites Lawrence and Smallpeople.
