  • Leeds venue Canal Mills was evacuated on Easter Sunday after an industrial fire in a nearby chemical recycling plant. No one was injured in the incident, which took place at 01:50 AM BST. The fire cut short a set from Tale Of Us (Joy Orbison, Move D and Axel Boman were also on the bill). The incident was described in a BBC report as a "huge industrial fire" at a chemical recycling firm, with more than 100 firefighters called out to tackle the blaze. Canal Mills posted a brief statement on their Facebook page that read: "We'd like to praise the staff, the fire service and the police for evacuating the venue safely." They added that the "venue is okay." West Yorkshire Police are investigating the cause of the fire. Photo credit: Gemma Rathbone
