  • Minimal Wave will release Sessions, a comprehensive collection of early Regis material from the late '80s. Karl O'Connor's work as Sandra Electronics has been well-documented before, including on the New York label itself, which released a seven-inch single last year in addition to a collection of new material under the name this year (enlisting the help of Silent Servant). Sessions will collect the two tracks from that seven-inch on the A-side, along with rehearsal takes of early tunes that appeared on Downwards back in the day. The flipside collects the original tracks from those Downwards sessions in Birmingham and a few reworks that date from around 1999. It'll be released initially in a limited run of 300 to coincide with the Brooklyn Flea Record Fair on May 10th, with the label promising a digital release later on down the line. Tracklist 01.
