  • Altered Natives will release Sin Elevated Art on May 2nd. The album follows 2012's "suicide note" Tenement Yard Volume 3, the last in the trilogy of bass-heavy records that originally brought his playful broken beat sound to prominence. Londoner Danny Yorke promised he would press on after the series, and now he's making good on that with Sin Elevated Art. The record is apparently "still cloaked in its dirty house-based, devil may care London stylings," according to a typically humourous press release written by Yorke, who also claims that it contains "some of [his] finest dance floor tracks to date." It's a concept album based on the seven deadly sins ("hence the giant atom bomb with the number seven on it," he points out). As with most Altered Natives LPs, Sin Elevated Art will arrive through his own Eye4Eye Recordings. In addition to this new one, there'll be another Altered Natives full-length in October, and a new project under the name Dr. Cockbloctopus in early 2015. You can check a mix from the latter alias here. Tracklist 01. The Void 02. Callaloo 03. Cold Infinity 04. Dominator 05. Big Black Dildo 06. Majestic Pussy Purrrr 07. The Broken Promise 08. Ass & Titties 09. Intensive Care 10. Hello Kitty 11. Feel Good Eye4Eye Recordings will release Sin Elevated Art on May 2nd, 2014.
