Hyperdub announce 10th anniversary compilation series

- First up is a two-disc collection featuring material from Burial, DJ Rashad, Mala, Cooly G and label founder Kode9.
- Hyperdub will celebrate its tenth anniversary with a series of four compilations. It doesn't seem too long ago that Kode9's label was releasing 5 Years Of Hyperdub. Since then the label has worked with an increasingly broad range of artists, embracing footwork and more experimental forms of music. To celebrate their ten-year milestone they've got four compilations in the works, kicking off with Hyperdub 10.1, a two-disc set focusing on the label's "dance floor dimension." The first disc contains mostly new material from a mix of core, fringe and new Hyperdub artists including DVA, Mala, Kyle Hall, Flowdan, Morgan Zarate, Kuedo and the Teklife crew (DJ Rashad, DJ Spinn and DJ Earl), while Kode9 also makes a couple of appearances. The label say this disc will spawn a series of single and multi-artist vinyl EPs to be released separately. The second disc celebrates "17 high points" from the past five years, with previously released cuts from Burial, Cooly G, Champion, Ill Blu, LV, Ikonika and Terror Danjah among others. The celebrations will also encompass a series of club dates across the globe from April through June. Things kick off in Glasgow on April 18th, before shows in Milan and Rome on May 16th and 17th, Berghain in Berlin on June 13th, Barcelona's Becool on June 14th and a three-room takeover of fabric in London on May 23rd.
