- The British producer has announced details of his next EP for Young Turks.
Jamie xx has revealed details of a new single called Sleep Sound, due out in May via Young Turks.
The xx man (real name Jamie Smith) hasn't put out a solo record as Jamie xx since 2011, when he released the Far Nearer 12-inch for Numbers and We're New Here, a collaborative LP of Gil-Scott Heron reworks for Young Turks. He'll return with his next single in May, with the title track streaming in full via the YouTube player below. The record will be released on vinyl and digital formats.
Smith is currently in the middle of a 25-date run of intimate live shows with The xx at New York's Park Avenue Armory. He also has a string of DJ gigs lined up this year, including festival appearances at Primavera Sound, Unknown, Flow, Love Saves The Day, Parklife and Field Day.
