- The French veteran has teamed up with The Martinez Brothers for the first release on his new label.
DJ Gregory is starting a new vinyl-only label called Ever Lasting LovE , with the first record due out this May.
As you might be able to tell by the capitalisation of Ever Lasting LovE, there's a nod to the Frenchman's deep house favourite "Elle," released back in 2003 (the label will also carry the category tag ELLE). It will be an offshoot of Faya Combo, the imprint Gregory launched back in 2002.
In recent times DJ Gregory has revived the Point G alias—back in February 2013 he started a new label to release records under that name—and the first release on Ever Lasting LovE is a collaboration between Point G and The Martinez Brothers called What's The Point?. The 12-inch, which also features a guest appearance from Filsonik, comes with four versions of the title track: the original cut, an accapella and two dubs.
