  • Skam will release the second album from VHS Head on May 12th. By using old VHS tape as his primary recording device, the British producer predated the current vogue for fuzzy lo-fi sounds on his 2010 debut LP Trademark Ribbons Of Gold. His follow-up album is called Persistence Of Vision and will see release via Skam, the Manchester label best known for putting out early records by Boards Of Canada and Autechre. A press release describes the record as a mix of "quiz show-esque excess, sleazy soft-core porn twangs and salutations, crazed kids TV themes [and a] liberal smattering of video nasty nastiness."
