  • Prurient's Cocaine Death will be reissued on March 31st. Now that he's fully broken into the techno world as Vatican Shadow, Dominick Fernow's more noise-oriented Prurient project—up until recently his dominant pursuit—has been getting a well-deserved once-over. That'll continue with a vinyl issue of Cocaine Death, a compilation originally released on CD in 2008 that collected three of his cassette releases up to that point—Tylenol Murders, Caribbean Overdose andCocaine Death—which explore "the glamour and destruction of toxic nightlife" among other topics. The press notes for the record promise Prurient's "most visceral and experimental works alongside of [the project's] most evocative," and also states the tracks have been specially remastered for the vinyl format. It'll come on Fernow's own Hospital Productions label. Take a listen to the rather abrasive title track below. Hospital will also drop a new EP from Wolf Eyes' Mike Connelly and his wife Tara Connelly the same day, under the name Clay Rendering.
Tracklist 01. Pretext (Bahamian Burial) 02. Cocaine Death 03. Dog Of Addiction 04. Lay By Son 05. Garden Of Tranquility 06. Eve Of Adam 07. Historically, Women Use Poison To Kill 08. Postscript (Coke Cunts) Hospital Productions will release Cocaine Death on vinyl on March 31st, 2014.
