- The UK producer will drop two slabs of vinyl, including the new "Miracle" suite, in April.
Djrum has a dual EP release coming out on 2nd Drop on April 14th.
In the introduction to Felix Manuel's still-stellar RA podcast from 2012, we wrote that his music took influences from all sorts of genres "to form a rich and cinematic whole," and his latest work, following 2013's Seven Lies, goes down the same route. It'll be released in two formats—one digital release with three tracks, and two separate vinyl EPs—but both options will feature "Miracle," a fifteen minute track split across two sides of the first 12-inch. The UK label are calling it his third "suite" for the label (following Mountains and Watermark), and it goes on to say that it includes "pulsing technoid flourishes" and "echoes of Krush-style hip-hop and forward-thinking drum and bass." The other two tracks are each said to touch on the "interplay of delicate keys" and "thumping techno," respectively.
