  • Manchester duo Szare, AKA Andrew Diaczuk and Jack Coulton, will release their debut album, Lost Shapes, on Frozen Border this Thursday. Szare first surfaced back in 2009, using the name 19.26.1.18.5 on the Frozen Border sublabel Horizontal Ground. Since then they've brought their wide-ranging techno tracks to imprints like Idle Hands, Other Heights and Mindset. They've also appeared on Frozen Border itself, with a contribution to the 2012 compilation Minutes On Ice. According to Juno Plus, Lost Shapes will take the form of a six-track double-vinyl release, and it'll come packaged with a CD called Carved In Those Dancing Gravestones—the contents of which were "composed and in some cases stolen by Szare"—with lengthy track titles as cryptic as the name of the disc. Details for that part of the release are still scarce, but you can try out track samples from Lost Shapes below.
