  • Berlin club Shift has been closed and replaced by OHM. Shift opened in early 2013, occupying the former battery room of the same disused power plant that houses Tresor. It turns out that the space's recent closure was only temporary, as it's been given a facelift and new name, and will re-open its doors this weekend. We're not sure what the new renovations look like, but we've been told the update has been inspired by Fischbüro, an art consortium OHM's founder ran in the '80s. Like Shift, electronic music makes up only part of the venue's programme—exhibitions, performance art and film screenings will take place there regularly. Detroit's DJ Stingray will be inaugurating OHM this Saturday. In the following weeks, Red Rack'em and Errorsmith will be among the acts to spin.
