Laurent Garnier lines up North American tour

- Heavyweight French DJ Laurent Garnier will cross the pond for a half dozen mid-April dates across North America. Garnier is keeping busy in early 2014 with a run of new releases—he put out one on Chicago's Still Music imprint in February, and records for Musique Large and 50 Weapons are scheduled to drop in the coming weeks. His latest visit to North America includes one gig in Canada and five in the US over two weekends, and it'll start on Friday, April 11th with an extended set at Toronto club Coda. The next night he'll touch down in Chicago for a night at Smart Bar hosted with Still Music—label head Jerome Derradji represents the other half of the lineup at that one—and then on Sunday the 13th he'll play the first of two sets at Coachella Festival in Indio, California. The next weekend, Garnier will get extended at Output in Brooklyn, then hit Denver's Beta, before concluding the tour with an appearance at Coachella's second weekend.
