Defected plots return to Booom! Ibiza

- Back for a second season at the superclub, Simon Dunmore et al. will take control of Tuesday nights.
- Defected In The House has made public its Ibiza plans for 2014, taking up a 20-week residency at Booom! Returning to the island for its twelfth season, the UK house outfit will kickstart proceedings on Tuesday, May 20th, running weekly through September 30th. Despite a turbulent first season for the superclub in 2013, Defected ploughed ahead relatively unscathed, enjoying a typically strong summer. This year will see Simon Dunmore and co. move away from the difficult Saturday night slot, going up against Carl Cox at Space among others. "Our 2014 season is our most ambitious to date," says Dunmore. "A Tuesday night residency is a ballsy move, but one that will allow us to further consolidate our presence on the island whilst building upon our phenomenal first season at BoOom! Ibiza. Recently, DJs have been prioritising the European festival circuit so moving away from the weekend will give us greater access to a broader talent pool and allow us to evolve our lineups." Though specific lineups have yet to be revealed, MK, Kenny Dope, Guti and Noir will all put in several appearances across the season, alongside the likes of Chasing Kurt, Oliver $, Flashmob and Sonny Fodera. Inaugurated in 1999, Defected celebrates its 15th anniversary this year.
