First names announced for Dancity 2014

- Caribou, Jessy Lanza and Flying Lotus will all play the ninth edition of the Italian festival this summer.
- Dancity has revealed the first wave of acts playing its 2014 edition. The electronic music festival, which is run in conjunction with Red Bull Music Academy, will be split into two parts this year: the first will take place in Spoleto on Saturday, May 30th, followed by the traditional three-day bash in nearby Foligno from June 26th through 28th. So far, only Jessy Lanza and Caribou have been confirmed for the latter, with the Hyperdub star warming-up for the band on the opening night. The show will be Caribou's only Italian date of 2014. Located in Spoleto's Piazza del Duomo, Flying Lotus has been confirmed as a headliner for the May event. The Brainfeeder boss will be joined by collaborator Thundercat, while also putting in an appearance under his Captain Murphy alias. Many more names will be announced in the coming months.
