  • Chopstick & Johnjon have released full details of their debut full-length, Twelve. Real names Chi-Thien Nguyen and John Muder, the pair first formed in Hamburg in 2002, before moving to Berlin to pursue music full-time. With a discography stretching back to 2004, the new album has been a long time coming, and it's set for release through their own Suol label in April. Aimed somewhere between the dance floor and the living room, Twelve captures Chopstick & Johnjon's warm, funk-laden take on house. "Favouring song over track," according to the press release, the LP leans heavily on the vocals of London-based singer Chris James, who features on eleven of the twelve cuts. There's also an appearance from Crew Love staple Tanner Ross, who lends a hand on "Twisted," while an acoustic version of new single "Pining Moon" is also included. Tracklist 01. Run Slowly 02. Comets 03. Twisted feat. Tanner Ross 04. Silent Sea 05. Dissolving Spaces 06. Erase These Images 07. I Will Follow 08. Pining Moon 09. Nothing Yet feat. Tanner Ross 10. Roots 11. Dreading The Light 12. Pining Moon (Acoustic Version) Suol will release Twelve on April 4th, 2014.
