- That's Harakiri will see release on April 28th.
Tri Angle will release the debut album from grime-influenced producer Sd Laika in April.
That’s Harakiri follows the 2012 Unknown Vectors EP for Visionist’s Lost Codes label. After releasing that EP, Sd Laika more or less disappeared from the production realm, and it wasn't until Tri Angle approached him in 2013 that his debut album began to take shape. According to a press release, That’s Harakiri comprises tracks recorded in 2011 and 2012 that the producer was convinced "would never see the light of day," adding: "For various reasons it looked likely Unknown Vectors would wind up being Laika’s one and only ever release."
The album will arrive on CD, digital and vinyl formats. You can listen to album cut "Meshes" via the SoundCloud player below. It's the first major announcement from Tri Angle this year, following a busy 2013 that saw the label release music from The Haxan Cloak, FIS, Evian Christ and Forest Swords.
