- The French duo's OST is due out on Versatile Records in March.
Versatile Records will release Zombie Zombie's score of Narimane Mari’s 2013 film Loubia Hamra on March 10th.
The French pair of Cosmic Neman and Etienne Jaumet are long-time soundtrack obsessives. Their music has always retained a cinematic quality, and in 2010 they released an album that re-imagined classic John Carpenter compositions (Zombie Zombie Plays John Carpenter). Their next project is a soundtrack for Loubia Hamra, a 2013 film about group of Algerian children grappling with issues surrounding France's colonial past.
Loubia Hamra will be the second full-length offering on Versatile in 2013, following the Acid Arab compilation featuring Eastern-tinged cuts from the likes of Pilooski, Professor Genius, Crackboy, and I:Cube.
