- The UK festival favourite will release his fifth LP in May.
Mr. Scruff will release an album through Ninja Tune in May called Friendly Bacteria.
The musical paths of Ninja Tune and Mr. Scruff are tightly woven. The celebrated crate-digger, tea brewer and cartoonist has released three of his four albums to date through the long-running UK label, including a 2008 effort titled Ninja Tuna. His next LP is called Friendly Bacteria and will land on digital, CD and double-vinyl formats.
To celebrate the album's release, Mr. Scruff will throw a 9.5-hour bash at The Roundhouse in Camden, North London, on May 31st. Kicking off at 2 PM and running through until 11:30 PM, a mix of bands and DJs will perform, as well as a slot from Mr. Scruff himself. The full lineup will be revealed in the coming weeks.
