- Gerber's much-loved Ibiza series will now have a home in the US with a quarterly residency at Story, starting in March during WMC.
- Guy Gerber will launch a new Wisdom Of The Glove residency in Miami, starting on March 22nd. Wisdom Of The Glove was started last summer as a new addition to the Ibiza clubbing calendar, taking place on Wednesday nights at Pacha. The oddly-named party quickly became one of the major highlights of last year's summer season. Since then, Gerber has been taking the brand around the world with him, including a special NYC stop late last year. But the Miami edition is the first time Wisdom Of The Glove will have a proper residency in the states, one that will happen quarterly at Story. When it launched back in Ibiza, Gerber had a mission to differentiate his series from the reams of more commercial EDM that had begun to dominate some clubs in Ibiza, and Glove's guests have included the likes of Nicolas Jaar, Four Tet and others. The Miami series is said to carry that torch, and the first instalment, taking place on the 22nd during WMC, will feature Martin Buttrich and Circo Loco's Davide Squillace.
