- The German producer's latest is set for April release through Ki Records.
Christian Löffler has a new album on the way for Ki Records called Young Alaska.
It's the producer's second album for the Cologne-based label, which he co-runs. (His first, A Forest, received a glowing review here on RA in 2012.) The press release describes it as an "autobiographical journey" inspired by long stretches on tour; the tracklist, with names like "Alpine Sketch," "Beirut," "Mt. Grace" and the title track, makes the geographic inspiration clear. Danish singer Gry and Mohna from the band Me Succeeds both feature as guests. The vinyl release will split the music between a 12-inch and a seven-inch, and you'll also find it on CD and digital formats when it's released in April.
