  • The lineup of this year's Beacons Festival has begun to take shape, with organisers revealing the first batch of artists. The 2014 edition will kick off on August 7th and run through until the 10th. It'll be again held at Funkirk Estate in the small market town of Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales. The headline acts so far include Jon Hopkins, DARKSIDE, Nightmares on Wax, Dixon and cult UK post-punk outfit The Fall. They'll be joined by the likes of Golden Teacher, Mano Le Tough, Roman Flügel, Paul Woolford (as Special Request), Daniel Avery and Berlin up-and-comer Max Graef. More names will be added to the bill over the coming weeks and months. RA will again be hosting a stage at Beacons, though we're keeping details under wraps for the moment.
