- Will Bankhead's label has outlined details of its forthcoming releases.
The Trilogy Tapes will release 12-inches from Max D and A Made Up Sound in February.
Both artists are well-known in underground circles: Max D, one half of Beautiful Swimmers, has enjoyed a strong 12 months off the back of his House Of Woo album for RVNG and its mixtape follow-up, Woo Daps. A Made Up Sound, meanwhile, is known for his angular, hard-hitting slant on techno, with a run of singles on his own label and the likes of 50 Weapons, Clone and Delsin. Despite putting out records from established names (last month also saw TTT release a 12-inch from Theo Parrish in partnership with Sound Signature and Palace Skateboards), it seems likely Bankhead will continue to push lesser-known artists, too. This month he revealed plans to release a 12-inch from Minor Science, the production project of RA contributor Angus Finlayson. (You can listen to "The Beckoner" in full here). The label also just released the Tab Of Acid 12-inch from Willie Burns, while a TTT Twitter post revealed that a record from Chemotex is also in the works.
