  • The third edition of the London Electronic Music Event will take place on April 12th and 13th, 2014. In keeping with previous instalments, the conference will be held at Rich Mix in Shoreditch and encompass live shows, workshops, panel discussions, keynote speeches and more. Organisers have lined up a few well-known producers, including Legowelt, Kris Wadsworth, Neville Watson and Luke Solomon. Several record labels, including Defected Records, Hypercolour and Fear Of Flying, will be involved too, with promoters (Bloc), software manufacturers (Ableton), clubs (XOYO) and record shops and distribution (Rubadub) also represented. Legowelt, real name Danny Wolfers, will take part in a Q&A with CDR’s Tony Nwachukwu on Saturday, April 12th, before playing live later that night. Wadsworth will discuss his production methods in a session titled "On The Road: Making A Living," while Watson will bring his live kit into an interactive Q&A session. Other discussion topics include "Club Nights: How To Survive And Thrive," "Role Of The Record Label Today," "What Is 'Underground' And Does It Matter?" and "The Art Of Sampling."
