Sónar adds more names to 2014 bill

- From Rudimental to Ron Morelli, the Barcelona festival's latest lineup announcement outlines its broad focus.
- Sónar has revealed 17 new acts to perform at this year's festival in Barcelona. This second wave announcement leads with three commercial dance acts— Colorado's Pretty Lights and UK names Flux Pavilion and Rudimental—who will all perform at SónarClub, the main stage at Sónar by Night. The other artists span myriad genres and styles, with DJ Harvey, The Martinez Brothers, Yelle, Machinedrum, Tiga, Laurel Halo, Recondite, Visionist and DJ Nigga Fox all set to appear. The more abrasive end of the spectrum is also catered for, with Ron Morelli and Svengalisghost repping for L.I.E.S., while Australian noise merchant Ben Frost is also on the bill. They join a growing cast that already includes Massive Attack, Richie Hawtin, Caribou, Bonobo, Four Tet, Moderat, Jon Hopkins, James Holden, Oneohtrix Point Never and Jessy Lanza. Sónar 2014 will run from June 12th through 14th.
