  • Rhombus will launch a new series of events called TIME on February 7th. Vancouver's licensing laws, which prohibit most events from going later than 2 or 3 AM, have generally made extended sets a rarity. TIME, however, will tap into the city's growing afterhours scene. The first party will go down at the beginning of next month, scheduled to go until at least 5 AM, and will feature Scissor & Thread boss Francis Harris spinning for five hours. The NYC-based producer is on the eve of releasing his second artist album, Minutes Of Sleep, which was recently teased with a solid single featuring a remix from DJ Sprinkles. He'll be supported by Rhombus DJs Oliver Nickels and Stefan Z. For a taste of his DJing style, check out a recent podcast by Harris here, and hear clips of the new LP over here.
